WTF is this. How in the hell VT detected the script as virus? Did you tried scanning the zip package from github instead of MyBB downloads?

Yes, I declared that I did the scan and the top results. you try to download.

False positive. Unless you can provide a proof of concept, there's no issue here.

We know that Nathan, but people don't. They would think the other way. Maybe some of the MyBB team should try contacting them.

And xp, I asked you to scan github download package, not from MyBB's downloads.

This seems to be more of an issue with one of the downloads xpserkan has provided. In which case, it's up to his to tell whoever that it's a false positive. As far as I can tell from the post, it was only xpserkan who brought up the fact the same applied to the official download.

It's the exact same file. We just link to the download on Github.

If it was from some major AV I would be worried. But, the only positive is from some no name company.

Same as that my crappy virusscanner would yell that bfme2.exe is a virus , because it things every no-cd is
For having your own forum ( with default theme... ) I thought OP be smarter than this.
