why not re-design the classic smilies set?

I kind of like the actual pack, but hopefully you opted for PNG for most graphics in 1.8.

No sure about PNG animations, last time I read about it there was no much support for it.

Idk the MyBB smileys seem a bit bland so I am all for an updated re-designed version.

FullMetalBabe should do them! If she charges I'm sure we'd be able to find enough people to donate $23 to get her to make 23 replacement smilies?

What license is it under? The team could just attach a new set that uses the same license as MyBB or something like that.

Considering this is a 1.6/1.8 I suppose they don't want that much effort (since they want this to be a light update).

It would be cool if the smilies were a sprite image rather than all separate. Less HTTP requests that way.
