It would be a lot easier if you modified the default theme. The diablo theme looks pretty advanced, there are a lot of images that need changing.
What confuses me is that your making a game, paying people yet you can't afford to buy a .com domain or premium theme. Or at least pay someone to make a custom one for you. That's why i said it doesn't make sense. If you have the ability to create an rpg game i would assume you would also have the ability to make a decent website and not use a diablo theme someone else made. I'm interested in seeing the final result though.
