I think it is good idea, what do you think?
In vbulletin already there is by deafult
Similar plugin is MyIPN of Labrocca but it imposes only 1 subscription for all services, I want someone buy every thing, for example:
_If you want a plugin you must pay $5 for 1 year
_If you want a blue nickname you must pay $2 for 3 month
_If you want to be a Users Gold you must pay $10 for 3 week
_If you want theme you must pay $50 for 3 months
Did you understand?

I would be happy with just a usergroup for subscription.

Everything you want I think should be a plugin. But the features of MyIPN should be default.

And how does this contribute to the discussion part of a message board system?

I know where you're going with this, Dennis:p It wouldn't:p, but it would be useful on many forums that provide things and might want to charge a small fee - and give extra perks to users who buy something(such as a "Buyers" group, more permissions, forums, etc.)

I can see Dennis's point, some things are best left as plugins, I think this is one of them.

it's included also in IPB and NovaBoard-->(new board similar IPB:p)
I agree with TomL, it has my same thoughts:d:d:d
However the plugin of Labrocca isn't free so it'll should be a big opportunity for who haven't money for buy subscription!
