There's a bug in the bank module. If you have it activated do NOT edit a user if you don't want to reset the user's bank money to 0.
I am going to release a fix soon and reply to this thread to inform you.

The bug has been fixed. I am writing an upgrade script to save you time. You could use the passive hooks module but as it is not very noob friendly I decided to spend a few more minutes writing a script that does what you need.
I will edit this post with more news if no one replies.
