Such a pointless game but yet it was so fun when I was about 11. Trashed my set of them along time ago during a tournament at the school. It was pretty amazing the arenas we made for them.

When I was in year 6, 11 years old about (USA work out which grade Toungue) all my friends used to play that game. We made arenas at school. But playing it at 20 years old is a little sad IMO, not offense Brad..

Beyblade is a strategy game based around physics and tactics; not "pointless."

I truly don't see how it's sad. I'm a normal person with lots of interests ... cooking, fashion, design ... Beyblade is just another one of my hobbies. I've been played it for seven years, so there's obviously something a little more to it.

I just printed out some pamphlets for our event in Vancouver this weekend.

^Me at an anime convention in Tampa, FL about 3-4 years ago... my wife took the picture.

Pick and choose which ones to laugh at.

As are 40 year olds who like Star Trek, people who collect stamps, Warhammer, Runescape? Each to our own Combo... Toungue

Beyblade is pretty big to be honest. It's like one of those things that have been around a long time that will no doubt just get bigger as time goes on.

To be honest, I don't find any of these "sad". There's a difference between a hobby and an unhealthy obsession. As long as your life doesn't revolve around it, people should do what they enjoy.
LoL... revolve... Toungue
