Funny thing, I updated this over a month back and thought I had already updated it here, realized just now that I never did, so here it is.
hi i have installed the plugin but its not working these are my settings
Enable/Disable ON
PM or Mail or Both PM
When to send the PM/Email On registration
PM Sender User ID 1
Subject welocme to my forum
Content my content
Could you possibly make this plugin compatible with FacebookConnect by Nayar?

Need some more info for me to understand whats happening:
Does a user for userID 1 exist? Have you tried using a different userid for sending the PM?
Do the new users have permission to use private messaging.
How are users being activated? Instant or Admin?

Below line 25 on welcomepm.php I have to add:
$plugins->add_hook("admin_user_users_coppa_activate_commit", "welcomepm_run");
This is in order to have the notifications sent when the accounts are activated by the admin (ie in the ACP -> User & Group -> "user" -> Activate)
Without this modification, when I activate an account, welcomepm_run is not executed.
I'm new to mybb .. Am I missing something ? Is there another way for the admin to activate users ?
