Okay, so we're fairly quiet about what is going on with MyBB on these forums in terms of what is happening and in development for future versions. Some people have asked for updates in what we're doing and the direction we're headed.

For a bit of shameless self promotion, but also places where you can find out a bit of gossip on what is coming, you can check out our blogs:

Chris Boulton - http://www.surfionline.com/
DennisTT - http://www.dennistt.net/

(As you can see, we all run WordPress, the best blogging system out there: http://www.wordpress.org)

Whilst it may seem rarely what we write about MyBB, I can say for myself, that I will be increasing my activity on my blog in terms of MyBB posts and I know Peter and Dennis will probably do the same as well. But you can also get the scoop on other things we're involved in, and our personal lives (Why you'd want to - I don't know! Toungue)

Now, another interesting way to keep up would be to keep your eye on this page on Technorati: http://technorati.com/tag/mybb. Anything I write about MyBB, I make sure to tag as 'MyBB' and Technorati will pick it up. I'm encouraging anyone here with a blog, not only us developers, to, if they write about MyBB, tag their posts using a tagging plugin (I recommend Ultimate Tag Warrior for WordPress), so that other users can find out what is happening around the MyBB community.

Update! February 2008!: The official MyBB Blog is online. The latest official development announcements will be posted there by MyBB staff: http://blog.mybboard.net
haha Awsome! going to be checking out those sources Smile

Not at the moment - not until we've completed most of what we're working on.

The beta area will also be relaunched.

Back before 1.0 was released - same time the new site went up.

I'd rather wait for announcements on the Forums. Don't know why, I usually love reading Blogs Toungue
Well, I just read the "MyBB: Development! Tally Ho!" and it gave me a headache with all the fancy techinal words and coding stuff. Big Grin But I hope you don't run out motivation and time to develop MyBB Smile

Actually... I think you should sacrifice your real life in order to make MyBB perfect Wink :p

Seriously, MyBB is a damn fine forum software *thumbs up* Smile
Wow, it's been so long since I've been here.. everything looks so great! MyBB has come a long way since DevBB was released!

Good to see the developers haven't gone insane, yet! Toungue
