Hi,

I wonder why I can't set a Custom Profile Field as NOT required but shown on registration?

In my opinion it's better to unloose the "Required?" option into a pure "Required?" and "Show on registration?".

What's your opinion?

The sad thing is that we have to wait for MyBB 2.0

Considering it's not even in beta, and from what I'm assuming you're asking for, I don't see it being a large change, so it may get thrown in 1.6
