No. The integration that I'm talking is Jfusion. It works. But we need someone to step up and help out to update the Jfusion MyBB plugin to the current Jfusion features.

About MyBB, there are many threads about it in Joomla Forums:

I know you are talking about jFusion...
The Joomla forum needs a current thread asking for Joomla developers to take an interest in the jFusion plugin for MyBB.
I don't have an account @Joomla...
  • ...maybe someone who sees this will start a thread.

@jFusion forum, I do have an account, so I'll try to stop by there soon.
Have fun this weekend...

Anyone know what is and is not working in the current jbridge, this would be a great take up for one of the many talented scripters around here to get this bridge fully working for MyBB. Its estimated that there are over 200,000 websites using Jommla and their only choice of supported free bb software is SMF and phpBB, how sad is that. Sad
I quote from the jFusion website.

Everyone is complaining that it doesn't work, yet there is no bug list.
I will be back in the UK in a few weeks (internet is sooooo slow in Thailand) when I plan to set up a dummy duplicate web site, with a copy my forum database and try the existing bridge.

It may well work without modifacation who knows. It apperently worked with MyBB 1.4

Has anyone here used the existing bridge with 1.4?
Did you have any problems then?
Bridge with 1.4 works pretty well (and with 1.6 too) but is only a "User Integration". All the others features don't work or are buggy.
What more do we need?
Are you saying that after the install if a user registers on either joomla or mybb they are registered on the other?
The plugin is buggy and lacks Jfusion standard features, bug fixes and maybe some optimizations.

Dual login don't work properly. If you login in MyBB, you are not logged in Joomla. But, if you login in Joomla, you are logged in MyBB. The same occurs with logout.

Frameless/visual integration simple don't work, because it's not implemented. The same with the discussion bot.

Bi-directional user sync don't work, because user export from Joomla is not possible. Only import.

Plain and simple, the MyBB plugin for Jfusion still works if you use MyBB as "slave". If you use it as slave, then yes. If you register in MyBB you are automatically registered in Joomla. But, If you use MyBB as "master" you will have a lot of problems.

To really see the state of things, just go and see the changelog for the last three Jfusion releases to see for yourself. Not even a single mention about MyBB:

http://www.jfusion.org/info/blog/JFusion...ased-.html
http://www.jfusion.org/info/blog/JFusion...ased-.html

Note that SMF, Vbulletin and phpBB don't suffer any of these problems. The problems above only apply to MyBB.
If you use Jfusion with MyBB and found bugs, please report them here (login required):
http://code.jfusion.org/projects/develop...acker_id=1

You need to register before report. It´s the same system MyBB uses for bug tracking. Register here:
http://code.jfusion.org/account/register

If we report bugs, maybe the Jfusion Team can fix them:
