It's an HTML tag with an inline style declared. The only thing that is of any importance is the color attribute of the style. Change '#FF0000' to '#00FF00' (for green) or '#0000FF' (for green).

Where are you intending to change the color? The instructions given are for you to change it on your own forum. From your posts I feel like you're trying to change your username color here on this forum. The usernames here are standard according to the team hierarchy and can not be changed by the user.

It has already been explained to you that this is not a host for MyBB forums. We are the software itself and the forums here are for support, demo and testing.

Yes, You can create HTML pages. We have an excellent template/plugin system which can help you achieve this, or you can use a ready-made plugin such as the Page Manager.

MyBB has built in portal. You can access it at http://site.com/portal.php
