I set fixed width for the first column with avatars for the classic mode. But nicknames, consisting of several words with spaces not transfers to a new line, and it breaks nice view. It looks like this:

Scarlett Johansson

any help?

(Looks like editing of templates leads nowhere. Perhaps it's need to edit the output format of php variable responsible for the nicknames output. But I understand nothing in php)

i am trying to change the color off User(s) browsing this forum: 1 Guest(s)
of my website i can see its lined under smalltext where would i find it so i can name it somting else like smalltext2 so i can change the color off it so that it dose not change all the small text on my website. i also want two do the same with New Posts locked post text ect. so in other words i want to to change the class it sets around[/align]

I have a hacker who has downloaded all files on my sites via FTP. So far no damage, but I am trying to be safe.... I want to change the database password for my forum because I'm thinking that my current password is plainly visible in the coding of some of the files.

I host with GoDaddy and can change DB password thru their control panel, but exactly what and where do I need to update the credentials in mybb admin panel?

Are there any other changes I should make (other than DB password)?

I am in the process of making my forum only available to users who know the password, however I need to know a few things.

I want to make the forum invisible to search engines such as Google. How would I go about doing this? I'm guessing one of the things would be to editing the robots.txt file to stop bots from indexing the website.

Are there any other things I can do? I don't want anyone coming to the forum by finding it on Google.

Can I also ask Google not to list the forum's domain? If so where would I do that?

Are there any other suggestions that you have in order for me to keep the forum private?

Sorry if some sentence don't make sense, I am not 100% biligual!

I have recently updated MyBB from 1.4.[...] to 1.6 and I now have a problem. New post Icons appear in front of some sub forums even though there is no new post and it happens randomly (is that a word?)

When I click on "new messages", there is nothing. It's just an issue with the display of the icons...

My config:
MyBB 1.6 with french pack installed (same error if board is in english)
PHP version: 5.2.13
SQL: MySQLi 5.1.48

One day a user of my forum open a topic, where he said "I can't change my avatar because of size limitation". I said to give me his avatar image, so I tried to upload myself, and I uploaded successfully.

Then I thought it was that specific username that was affected by the problem. So I gave him the test account details but he couldn't change the avatar even on the test's account.

I haven't this problem, but some user have it and probably is caused by some PC configurations (maybe OS? I'm sure is not the browser) but don't know which..

All new image attachments are just showing up with download links. This was working fine after the 1.6 upgrade and seems to have gotten worse:

This was working then the next day image icon.

Suggestions?

is there a way to strike out old threads or list them last in thread list? i still need them but they don't need to be in the main area.
