I have created a new section on my forum that I want to be

Visible to all (guests & members)

But

Readable only to members.

In Admin panel, for that section I have set the permissions for GUESTS as YES for "Can View Board" and "Can View Threads" but this way they are able to see the threads content too.

If I choose NO to "Can View Threads" they are not seeing the threads, but I want them to see the threads titles only but to read the content they must register.

This setting is working on this MyBB forum http://www.hackforums.net/forumdisplay.php?fid=50

Try to open any thread, it will not let you read the content because you are not registered there.

How can I do it?

at my forum statics, specially on the part of who's online
people's names aren't seperated by commas as in the pic below :


this happens after upgrading to 1.6, my previous version was 1.4.9

what can I do te get them seperated again by commas ?!

Hello, Please make a plugin where a moderator can't edit another moderator's post.

And please tell me how to hide UID=1 from displaying to anybody?

I don't want to make another admin for my forum and give it admin rights and downgrade the original admin.

Ive tested registering soem accounts on my forum and ive noticed that everytime i click submit registration , theres a 30+ deplay before it actually registers. I feel this can be off putting for members.

Any idea's what might be causing the delay ?

Plugin Update , File verification & Version Check in the admin control panel is not working at the moment. Is this a problem from my end or mybb's end ?

I am trying to add a couple of things to the postbit so that if the user who has posted is banned they have a different avatar and an unban button under them. Are there any ways I can check if a user is in the banend user group (in this case number 7)? If possible without making a database query?

I've tried so many times to configure the mail setting to use smtp
but all in vain, it doesn't work and says there is an error

Unable to connect to the mail server with the given details.<br /><br />2050695744: Unable to find the socket transport "tls" - did you forget to enable it when you configured PHP?

I can't figure out how to do a query in the MyBB system.
I would like to pull the title column from the usergroup table.
And then I would like to echo the result, like a usergroup legend, but I want to basically do it by myself.
Although, I can't figure out how to do a query.
So, can anyone help?
