I posted this for mybb 1.4 here:
http://community.mybb.com/thread-72387.html

but it's still happening and I'm now on mybb 1.6

what gives?

mattr and I have had discussions in PM about this issue and he has seen it happen, but isn't sure what's causing it.

for example..on a large thread on my forum that has 189 pages, the forum lists it as having 190 and when you click 190 to go to the last page, it takes you to the 1st page of the thread because there isn't 190 pages, there is only 189.

MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

Query:
SELECT t.tid, t.title, t.sid FROM mybb_templates t LEFT JOIN mybb_templatesets s ON (t.sid=s.sid) LEFT JOIN mybb_templates t2 ON (t.title=t2.title AND t2.sid='1') WHERE t.template LIKE '%modlist%' AND NOT (t.sid = -2 AND NOT ISNULL(t2.tid)) ORDER BY t.title ASC

  Upgrade to 1.6 question
Posted by: rossman - 2010-08-21, 05:27 PM - Forum: 1.6 General Support - Replies (2)

I have followed the instructions to upgrade my forum to 1.6 and as I am going from 1.4.13 I skipped the steps 1-->4 in the upgrade instructions. Howver I may be stupid but there is nowhere where it tells me to upload the files for 1.6 to the server. As a result after the uograde I am still at the same version.

The dumb question is should I copy the new version up to the server and then progress from step 5??

Sorry for yet again asking the really dumb questions!!

Regards
Rossman!

  Add h1 h2 h3 tags to post text size options
Posted by: v7web - 2010-08-21, 05:23 PM - Forum: 1.6 General Support - Replies (2)

Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me with this.
In the post new thread/edit box there is a drop down "text Size" option, these options wrap the text with

<span style="font-size: xx-large;">My text here </span>

How would I change this or add some code so that I could have a <h1><h2><h3> option so that if chosen the text would be wrapped like

<h1>My text here </h1>

Thanks

  Parse error in inc/class_core.php on line 18 *(public $version = ...)
Posted by: davemac - 2010-08-21, 02:57 PM - Forum: 1.6 General Support - Replies (1)

Hi all,
I have just installed the newest version of myBB (no upgrade) and also copied czech version downloaded from your server as well. I followed the install instructions however when I open the /install/ I get the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in ......./forum/inc/class_core.php on line 18

The problem occurs here:

class MyBB {
/**
* The friendly version number of MyBB we're running.
*
* @var string
*/
public $version = "1.6.0";

/**
* The version code of MyBB we're running.
*
* @var integer
*/

What is wrong?

Problem solved, the solution is phpBB. Toungue
