My board is currently set to "Send Email Verification" but it seems like some users still show up under "Awaiting Activation" whereas some users get activated independently... What causes this inconsistency?

The ones who shoe under "Awaiting Activation" - does this mean they have simply not gone to their email and activated their account?

How can I set a background for a theme, what's the code for it?

Currently I have:

background: #222 url(link here);

But that doesn't work, when I choose a HTML colour and include the # before and ; after, it still won't work.

Theme = Apart 1, I've had so many problems with it.

i have restricted the usergroup "account not activated" from posting but still they are able to posting.i dont know why this is happening,can anybody tell me???

How can I properly add a fav icon for my MyBB forums running on version 1.6.

I've already made the favicon and I uploaded it to my root directory, saved as "favicon.ico".

What's the phpMyAdmin code to make an admin account with the username admin1 and password admin or something like that? I know there is one but I forgot it.

It's not for my forum, but a forum I'm working on.

I'm basically trying to upgrade a site to 1.6 and it says "Please enter your username and password to begin the upgrade process. You must be a valid forum administrator to perform the upgrade.
Login" so I need an admin account.

Hi all. Been a while.
I have a problem with some of my members reporting that all threads on the site are coming up as unread. Even when they click the "Mark all Forums Read" button, it still comes up as unread.
I have advised them to delete all cookies and temp internet files, but that has not made any difference.

My site www.fixmygps.net and I will supply a username and password for anyone willing to help out.
