Well I have updated to 1.6 and the Auto Media plugin does no longer work and all my other important plugins are not compatible anymore, when will these plugins be configured for 1.6?

I'm testing the new installation (as an upgrade from 1.4.14) and I was wondering if there is a new navigation implemented while you're viewing a thread? See the screenshot below, when viewing a thread in a specific forum, I can directly navigate to a specific page from the thread listing of the forum the thread is in. Is this normal, because I can't seem to find anything about this in the features page.

I have seen lots of errors and problem in upgrading to 1.6
Some of them even think of downgrading which is terrible.

So the method is simple TRIAL & RUN.

For Beginners :-
1) Shut down your forum.
2) Deactivate all the plugins from ACP.
3) Grab a copy of your forum's files using any FTP client.
4) Grab a copy of your database.
After doing this you may re-open your forum and activate all plugins.

5) Now get a free host or perhaps if you have another host you may use it.
6) Upload the copy of your forum's files to the new host.
7) Import the copy of your database. Check this thread if you dont know how to do this.
8) Now grab a copy of mybb1.6 and update the TRIAL forum on the new host.
9) Activate all plugins and check if you have any problem. If you have some issues report it here.
10) After resolving all the bugs update your MAIN forum.

For experts:-
Update your forum on a copy and check for errors before you update.

Is there any way to change the way MyBB sorts by default?

I want my members to view all topics, not just the ones posted 'today'.

hi ... I have upgraded to 1.6 recently
when in a post i want to multiquoting using this button :
after this it is transferred to quick reply form and after that when i want to click on quote button to show the quoted text , i see this error:

"false"

how can i fix this

I'm using cPanel on my hosting site and have uploaded all my files to the public_html folder but when I go to the install address I get the Google Chrome error message. My URL is www.movieflump.com
