I think a "MYPS download charge" would be easy to implement as a seperate plugin. Basically you can allow the poster that adds the plugin to charge the MYPS for the DL. Admin can set whether to deduct those MYPS or have the MYPS given to the poster. Also I believe it would be good to exempt certain extensions or groups from charging. It's very doable.

Wow you have given a name too lol.....MYPS download charge sounds good So do we have to wait till Mybb 1.4 released?

That would be a great idea and encourage members to post in order to be able to download.
