Yep, that option allows you to perform the moderation with whichever puppet account you choose.

Sorry you are having problems, but I can't reproduce that error. I'm running the latest version on local and on a few live forums without issue.

Bug

I'm getting the same error message adding any user as a puppet master.
Using the back button & refreshing shows the username added but going to the edit page gives this error message

Warning [2] count(): Parameter must be an array or an object that implements Countable - Line: 380 - File: inc/plugins/puppet_master/acp.php PHP 7.2.13 (Linux)
File	Line	Function
/inc/plugins/puppet_master/acp.php	380	errorHandler->error

/inc/class_plugins.php	142	puppet_master_admin_load
/admin/index.php	819	pluginSystem->run_hooks

If I try to add a user to a puppet master, nothing happens after adding them - I get an almost blank page headed
"Manage Puppet Masters Edit Puppet Master

edit puppet masters"

& get taken back to the main Puppet Master page with the error message "Puppet Master is invalid" if I reclick on edit puppet masters.

I've tried deactivating & reactivating the plugin and it makes no difference.

Tried again and got an "added successfully message" as well as the errors. Just checked my forum to make sure it wasn't actually working ok, I've gained a 'change user' message next to my name when starting a new thread but clicking it just logs me out instead of letting me post with another username,

Thanks for such a detailed report!

I'm so sorry you are having problems. Let me do some testing and I'll try to get back with you as soon as I can. I am a little tied up tonight, but I will try my best to at least take a look.

I have tried several different ways to reproduce your issue without success. Do you think I could get access to your forum to see what is the matter?

    Hi

im having terrible trouble getting this working.  When i very first installed this i got a mysql error

I went back and pressed install and it then installed fine. However when i try to add someone as a puppet master, i select the member and click add and i get this

if i press back then refresh the username appears in the list, then when i click to edit the user and assign a puppet it says its added ok

but when i go back into edit the puppett master i get nothing.

also there aint no drop down boxes anywhere for me to change user

please help as this seems like it will be a awesome plugin if i can get it working
