One thing I would suggest adding is a check of the CHMOD of ./cache/themes/ - necessary to debug why a theme is 'missing'.

Sure go add it..let's keep updating this and reposting it here as an attachment. Maybe everyone working together can make this a must have tool for diagnostics.

I get a
500 - Internal server error. There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed. trying to use this script http://www.howman.dyndns.info/MyBB/diagnostics.php and the scrip is in the MyBB folder

Is it CHMOD to 644??
useing windows server IIS 7 i set up a test site on my laptop which is running Windows 7 with IIS 7.5 it works there if i go http://localhost/Forum/diagnostics.php (test site)

Awesome stuff labrocca. I'd really consider this as a default plugin or a default feature

but i about 2 hours or after dinner which ever comes first i guess i will for mat and go to IIs 7.5 |
