I've installed myshowcase but I cant see the Garage Admin Summary on the ACP menu bar. Please tell me how to fix this, thank you!

It depends on what you gave as that Showcase's "Main File". If you just used showcase.php, you can use the default showcase.php in the forum root. If you gave it another name, you should make a copy of showcase.php and give it the name you used (or simply rename showcase.php to whatever you used)

The "Name" has nothing to do with the actual "Main File" used. If you use SEO, then "Name" will used for the SEO URLs but redirected to the Main File.

hi thanks for that. i already change the main file to showcase.php.

but i get this error now "/var/www/html/mybb/inc/languages/english/myshowcase_fs1.lang.php does not exist"

i check the unzipped folder it only have myshowcase.lang.php not myshowcase_fs1.lang.php.

so i try the to rename that file. But when i try to add new topic, it said "You do not have permission to access this page. "

i already add the permission to "Can Add?" for registered user and admin.

never mind i got it working. i will write a tutorial later so in the future a newbie like me can easily use this plugin. thanks!

I have a bit confuse about using MSC: the help file written "You need to insert a link to the showcase yourself via the MyBB template editor" but I dont know how to insert and what link I have to add in.

I think you have to set the field for your showcase in Field settings, when you create table for that showcase, the myshowcase_fsx.lang.php will appears, x is the IDnumber of the field you created.

The plugin does not add a link to any Showcase in the main "top links menu" (where is says Home, Search, Members, Help, etc). You need to edit the Header template yourself, and what you put in there is highly dependent on the theme/template you are using.

I would suggest you look for the existing <li> area in the header template
and copy/paste/edit one of the existing items to use the new image and link to the showcase you created.

When you create a field set, the language file is created for it automatically and when you edit the field set, the language file is updated. but the languages folder needs to be writable by the system.

you need to setup the showcase fully before you can view the showcase.php page. the field set, the fields, the field options, create the table, make sure the language files are ready, the attachment folder is writable, etc.

The Summary page in MyShowcase Admin > Summary should give you all the info about the showcase status. Just hover over the little icons/dots.

Thanks. The only reason I say it needs to be for 1.6 is the moderator pages use the JS based username lookups "as you type".

You need to edit the plugin file /inc/plugins/myshowcase.php and find find line 910 in function myshowcase_postbit($post)

The plugin simply appends to the $post['user_details'] variable. It is not template driven at this time.

the columns are partly fixed and part custom. the view, member, comments, views and last edit are fixed via template and code. the others are driven by the field set list view order setting. -1 values are not shown, anything else sets the order in which those fields are shown in the view.
