I am getting the following error when trying to log into my forum after upgrading to 1.6. Any suggestions on how to fix?


MyBB SQL Error

MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
1054 - Unknown column 'remember' in 'field list'
Query:
SELECT uid,username,password,salt,loginkey,remember,passwordconvert,passwordconverttype FROM mybb_users WHERE username='Walter' LIMIT 1

I know this must be the zillionth thread today, but its a quick one that i couldnt find answered anywhere.

Im ready to upload the 1.6 folder now, do i delete all the contents on my server? i.e the 1.4 files? or not.

Yeah dudes,
I just downloaded the new 1.6 pack and tried to install it.
I've uploaded all files 1:1 to my new server and made a new database (MySQL). I gave all files and paths the right CMOD and renamed "config.default.php" to "config.php".

But when I open "forum/install/", I got the following error:

I just upgraded to 1.6 and can not find the Prefix-function, where exactly do I have to see this or can I find it?

Hello, I upgraded from 1.4.14 (or 13) to 1.6 Gold and when i choose a prefix in the thread to use and it dosnt display.

Help please.

EDIT: Fixed, It just needed a style case, Let me see if i can delete this thread.

The theme is messed up (prob from the upgrade obviously)
But when I go to the ACP it tells me I'm still on 1.4.13 which is up to date.

I am experiencing multiple problems I upgraded fine but now after looking through a few things I noticed some errors I will report more if I see any.
1. Editor problem the video posting thing is acting up is displays current message well for youtube haven't check others yet.

if i upgrade to new version.. what changes i made in default theme at present will remain intact or i need to change everything again

Uploaded the 1.6 files, pretty sure I did the chmod steps correctly, removed the lock file. Still nothing when trying upgrade.php.

Fortunately I backed up the original forum directory and the SQL database before the upgrade, so should it truly be FUBAR I can revert. If anyone can help out with this I'd appreciate it.
