Hey, I already own a mac but I want a linux box and also want to make it an ok gaming pc.

NOTE: I want to build it myself. I know how to build them and have done it before I just want to build it myself because I hate companies such as dell and HP.

Can someone please suggest a processor that will run games such as Counter Strike, Minecraft and other games. Also a decent graphics card that wont have any problems.

(yes I know the i3/5/7 are amazing but if I were to get that it would be the 990x or whatever it is and I dont have the money for that)

I heard that Linux can't run CS?

I want to dual boot windows 7 and debian or another distro.

Linux can run cs, one of my friend running CS in ubuntu 9.04
