i figured it out. but do you know where the portal_latest_thread is placed on the server. I need to know so i can use the table created in there to put a background image for each row created.

correct. i know that, but what im saying is where is the file located on the ftp server. so i can correctly direct the td style=background-image:url(path/to/file/). D:

99.999% of things related to HTML and CSS are in the ACP templates and themes pages. you should make the template use a class and then define that class in the theme's CSS

Hey there,
it appears to me that the smilies in my announcements posts on the portal page can't be load due to a wrong image path. I got my portal.php as index.php in my site root folder. Inside the root directory I got a forum folder where all my forum files are located in.

It's kerncraft.de (the home directory, where my portal.php is). The URL to the forum is kerncraft.de/forum.

Hey Pavemen.
Having a minor issue, when I log into the forum using the portal login form in the side box, the user gets sucessfully logged in but the portal remains showing Guest.

Having a minor issue, when I log into the forum using the portal login form in the side box, the user gets sucessfully logged in but the portal remains showing Guest.
