How about we start with Common Sense (mentioned already I know) and then, since I don't run suck tailed Windoze I have Beautiful ClamAV... which comes standard with most Linux distros

Err, OSX isn't an antivirus
Install Clam for OSX and protect yourself. Just because the virus you get doesn't affect you, so you never know you got it, you can still pass it on to others who use Windoze.
Avast free, much better than other free ones.
I'm crazy and don't use an antivirus, even in windows >_>

windows firewall under windows 7 its not that bad, but the best antivirus and firewall is the user himself, a noob user are always infected...
