What are you going on about? EasyDNS isn't a host, or a domain registrar.. They provide DNS. That's it.

Actually they are a domain registrar. I have most of my domains with them.

Why not get domains from an ACTUAL domain registrar instead of a company whose main purpose is providing DNS? That is comparable to buying just a domain from hostgator or something

So it's not a web host right?

So you point your name servers to the dns stuff?

Also how many name servers can you have?
MYBB GHOST, ever heard of a thing called google, all this stuff is easily explained by google. Nevertheless;

No, it's not.

Yes, for example my RCAC domain is pointed to ns1.jivesn.com and ns2.jivesn.com, and is therefore pointing to my dedicated server.

As many as you like. Minimum is 2, though. Start with 2, and see how you go.
NameCheap by far. Been with them for 2 years.

Um...google I think, you know it's very popular and lots of people used it so I think I heard of it... jk of course I heard of it.

So I can have like 10 name servers if I wanted to, like 2 pointed to a few web hosts, and some others to a dns like easy dns?

The theory is yes, the reality is it's very difficult.
NameCheap is the best Domain Registrar.
MediaTemple is a really good host. I've used it and their support is fast and quick. They also have good specs and prices(medium ranged prices, not too expensive or cheap).
