how do I fix this?
Check out the mybb_datacache table. Edit shade_plugins row deleting MAP infos from there, so the plugin is recognized as uninstalled in the plugins list. Then proceed to install MyAlerts and MAP again.
hello shade

This incident happened again as the first I've had:

http://gyazo.com/c3dad3e13b64ebeeeacc76ca4e750dac

I think I'm using the latest myalert.

what exactly is wrong with this.
The error was fixed in the GitHub 1.04 version of MyAlerts, there's version 1.05 available though. Update it.
My Alerts1.05 fix this problem. Big Grin
Moderation Alerts Pack 2.0 is now available

Featuring:
  • A completely rewritten approach to installation, uninstallation, core edits and hooks injection;
  • Core edits are now checked upon installation and if one of the file the plugin wants to patch doesn't have the minimum required write permissions (664), the installation will be aborted and a message containing all the files that need to be updated will be prompted to the user;
  • Uninstallation now works even if MyAlerts has been previously uninstalled and its database tables are not available. No more SQL errors!
  • 3 new alert types has been added: you can be now notified whenever an user edits your signature (both from MCP and ACP), whenever an user approves your threads and whenever an user unapproves your threads;
  • Dramatic code and file size cleanup: taking 3KB less than the previous version, but with a lot of new additions;

Download the new version from GitHub.

To update:
  • Uninstall Moderation Alerts Pack from your board;
  • Upload the new files overwriting the old ones;
  • Install & Activate Moderation Alerts Pack and enjoy;

The next version will certainly feature an upgrader very similar to the one found in MyFacebook and MyTwitter Connect, thus preventing your existing data to be wiped out.
