^ check whether you can access ~/admin/index.php?module=tools-edithistory

And can you see the plugin's settings at the Configuration (settings) section ?

may be you have to allow yourself to view the history log !
admin panel >> users & groups >> admin permissions >> your user name / your user group >>
Tools & Maintenance (tab) --> Can manage edit history?

Yes, I can access that page, and it is logging edits correctly.

Yes, I can see the configuration section.

Yes, the permission is ticked, and this account is a super admin.

Still no luck :c
^ would you like to PM me temporary access to forum admin panel to check ..
Thank you for a new release. Is possible to add an ability to view history logs for more user groups (not only admin, mod and super mods)? Maybe lite version without IP option and restoring
What changes have been made?
- Added setting for edit IP addresses viewing
- Added pruning task
- Added 24 hour lock to edit history pruning

- Added (int) to editsperpage setting check
- Bug: Fixed Edit History link not showing up when quick editing
- Bug: Fixed bad words are not filtered in subjects, messages and reasons
- Indented templates and other file cleanup
When I click on the View Edit History link in the post I'm just redirected to the Forums list.

Yep. That was the problem. Thanks!
Plugin has been updated to 1.3.

- The number of times a post has been edited is now logged and can be shown with the 'edited by' message in posts (can be disabled; 'edited by' messages must be enabled). Please note it only counts edits that have been logged.
- Fixes XSS issue with thread titles in Admin CP page.
- Sanitized usernames (a change that's being made in 1.8.8).

To update, you must first deactivate the plugin (do not uninstall), upload all new files and reactivate.
