At this time I've written this plugin to display the latest news from the forum ids to pull announcements from (Admin-CP >> Configuration >> Settings >> Portal Settings).

I'll have a look to code new features in future.

Did you upload the files correctly?

newsbar.php must be located in your inc/plugins directory. The language file newsbar.lang.php in your inc/languages/english directory and the forum_newsbar.lang.php file in your inc/languages/english/admin directory.

Simply change the STYLE to whatever you want.
In future version a custom stylesheet will be included! =)

How do you mean? In the newsbar.php can i find not a color stuff. Do you mean the theme? I want that the bar is the same colour like the theme Slate Red.

Go to your Admin-CP >> Templates & Styles >> Templates >> Global Templates and edit the newsbar template.

You can change the style attribute to your needs! No need to edit the php file.
