I like your idea.
i use different browsers for their looks and services.
i love fireforum.
i like to give 9 out of 10.

Let's just hope some person doesn't browse it with IE, join, and participate.

A: It's wrong, it's about Firefox

B: It messes up the interface

Have you noticed that? Other browsers' view is bad...maybe that's why Firefox is there!

How about you edit the site template and make it so that if an IE user arrives on the site it displays a message saying something like:

Quote:Hey! The browser you are using is not compatable with this forum. Please download firefox from http://firefox.com and then come back here.

I think there is a way of making that possible.

No just make adds for IE Just use an <!--[if IE 6]>
Special instructions for IE 6 here

Or w/e ie7/8 etc.
