So you want to bypass blocked sites in uni?

Have you tried using the direct IP of the website you want to visit? Get the IP and enter it directly into the browser, sometimes that will bypass the blocked site.

Yes.
I've tried already by IP
and fails
HTTP 403 error
Hmm, Do you know which filtering software your uni is using?
In this uni, no idea

Error screen says this
Quote:Access Denied (policy_denied)

Your system policy has denied access to the requested URL.

Lol
Try using Ultrasurf if your uni allows USB drives: http://ultrareach.com/

If not, just use proxy websites, there's tons of new ones released every day.

Yeah, same in my school. There's not a definite way to bypass sites...
Sad No problem
a least i still have facebook and mybboard.net Smile
Glas can you run a .exe file? This works at my school. Try downloading qemu http://wiki.qemu.org/Main_Page with linux on it. (To a USB key) and try it. Works at my school. Try downloading a browser and installing it on a USB key also.
