After a long time I may announce today that Beta 3 of WYSIWYG Editor for MyBB is out!
You can test it on frinklabs our download and install it on your own test forum.

What will be and when will come the next release?
The next release will be the last beta, beta 4. It will come in about 2 weeks and after this will come the first Release Candidate (RC).

Looks impresive but I have a problem: This plugin is an 'overkill'. I don't need themes and/or quick reply support. Just a 'normal' WYSIWYG editor. What do think about a light version?
Found some bugs (I tested the 'core' editor only, because other things (theme management) aren't important for me):
- When quoting a post author and date are not shown (but viewable in source mode)
- Removing a link needs to exactly select them. Would be better to remove the link just after click somewhere in the link (without selecting)
- Adding a link isn't possible
- Not possible to insert an attachment to posts. It just show something like [attach=123][/attach] but not the attachment (also while editing the post)
- Text size shouldn't show pt values. Because this is not accurate (Smallest, Smaller, Small, Normal, Large, Larger, Largest may be better and also non technical users understand it)
- Editor doesn't unterstand image size and destroys the MyCode while switching normal mode and source mode or while editing a post with sized images:

- Image align doesn't work:

- Video MyCode isn't supported. Well I don't think you should load the video but maybe showing just a video image?
- Smilies gets space on the left and right. This isn't the default MyBB behavior
Please add a good editor to next mybb versions.
