Google SEO can be complicated to install at times. As Joshua said, you need to make sure you upload the patched functions.php based on your MyBB version, and edit the .htaccess with the information it tells you to put. For example if you were on MyBB 1.6, you take your current functions.php and download it (to be safe) and put it on your desktop for example. Then rename the patched functions.php in the .rar to "functions.php" and upload it via FTP (remember to delete previous one). With the .htaccess just edit it with notepad or something and copy and paste the code the plugin shows you.

If this isn't what your struggling with then at least other struggler's can see this Wink

Does it just say "this specified thread does not exist" or does it show a search box for your site, along with a message along the lines of does not exist? Did you upload the modified functions.php, and the modified .htaccess?

Can you give us a screen shot of the settings for the google seo mod alternatively if you wanted to pm me some details of a admin account i could look through the setting i have google seo set up and running on my site.
As said above, did you upload the patched functions.php and the modified .htaccess?
I have uploaded functions.php and .htaacess
Did you do it exactly to what they say? Did you delete the other functions etc?

For this sort of problem, I think it has to be something to do with the .htaccess.

# EXAMPLE .htaccess FOR MYBB WITH GOOGLE SEO URL
# -------------------------------------------------------------------
# This file is identical to MyBB's htaccess.txt example file,
# with rewrite rules for a standard Google SEO install added.
#
# Before using this file please make sure to:
#
# - replace /MyBB/ with your forum folder, e.g. / or /forum/
# - replace yoursite/MyBB with your forum URL
# - name the file '.htaccess' (starting with the dot, no .txt)
#
# Alternatively you can add the required rewrite rules to your
# existing .htaccess, the specific rules required will be displayed
# on the plugin status page once Google SEO URL is enabled.

Bumping, would appreciate this.
If that is your .htaccess file then your problem is this
# Google SEO 404:
ErrorDocument 404 /MyBB/misc.php?google_seo_error=404
it should be
# Google SEO 404:
ErrorDocument 404 /misc.php?google_seo_error=404
Still same problem.
