That has nothing to do with the error the error is saying it can't connect to the sql server it dosen't mention the install folder, also there is no need to delete it as it will lock its self.

Like you can see it is not the host. I have instaled a fresh version of mybb on my server in side a test folder and all works.
So its mybb which is stopping my forum from working
p.s i only uploaded the install folder to the main forum to see if i could upgrade it. so that then maybe it would fix the error but never.

i have copyied the working config file from the test folder into the not working inc folder edited the db of course etc but still no luck
I'm not sure then as your files and database worked fine on my localhost, so something is not right here.
I'm still playing around i'll let you know if i come up with anything.
How would i find out the problem ? Because i can;t lose the database to be honest all users info etc

Not sure why you felt the ened to make a new thread on this, merged.
You're the only person who has this problem and it has a very specific cause. As I said before, it happens because it cannot load a PHP extension, that is not an issue with MyBB. There will have to be something different about your setup somewhere.
I believe this issue has been solved now after a few hours work, it was deffinately a wierd setup, i can't pin point the exact problem, but it is working now or at least it was about a hour ago.
