OK so its hard make a decent theme from Word. But a good themer given the time could probably come up with something that looks OK. But someone who doesn't have an eye for design is going to make a crap theme, no matter what tools they use. Sure, PS has all the tools to do it, but I've seen it many times over, put someone without an 'eye for design' in front of photoshop and everything will come out with a layer style of default 'Bevel and Emboss' and 'Drop Shadow'.

Yes, just making a point that it is possible to make a theme mockup in Word to a similar quality as a theme made by a person posting in this thread who takes the standpoint that it is impossible to design a decent theme in word.

Making Mybb themes is easy really,but you should have an idea of what you are going to make.
A little knowledge in photoshop is essential to create some images pertaining to the theme.

Photoshop is not needed to make a good theme. You can use any image editor and make good work. It all comes down to the artistic skill of the person.


@Op it looks good,but instead of just making images of the theme why not try to actually code the theme? Also like I said in another thread of yours try making the images for things like the thead better looking. Another thing why not use gimp to make all of your theme O.o?

Hello, this kind of designing is kinda unique and hard. Designing in MS Word is pain, you should start using photo editing software and get to used of it. MS Word is limited of tools and photo editing software is more flexible.
