OK... So I'm overwhelmed with the responses so far.

How about one more....

Which one is better between VPS Hosting and "Cloud Hosting"?? http://www.asmallorange.com/hosting/

Never heard of cloud hosting before, but I can understand it has some type of redundancy??
Basically ya, cloud hosting is a set up where your site isn't relying on one server but a bunch that basically act one. So if there is a hard drive failure everything should automatically switch to another hard drive.

Right now a standard VPS will be cheaper to get for the most part even with a backup plan on top of it.

For VPS providers I would recommend the following:
http://serverdragon.com/
http://6sync.com
http://www.linode.com/index.cfm

1. They pack hundreds of thousands of accounts onto one server.

2. They provide you with a subdomain, which will make your site fail.

3. They often 'review' sites, rendering your site inoperable.

4. They're servers are very slow because of point 1

5. It's free.

If you want people to take you seriously, you'd at least buy shared hosting for a few $ a month.

i think your overeacting btw they provide you wit a sub domain if you dont already have a domain why the heck would a website give away free .com domains

No he's not. All he said was true except the sub-domain thing.
Most of us, have already tried 000webhost and moved from it. Its the first host i tired and its the worst too.

Preferrably good...

Hahah, you don't have a lot of downtime and slow loading?

I use hosting24.com, they aren't to bad.

Seconding Linode - rock solid, and has very useful node management features (DNS manager, network/CPU/disk monitoring, OS image manager etc.) *outside* of any cPanel software you might want to install. I'm using it for my board, which has much lower requirements than my wiki (powered by Catalyst). So for Catalyst software, which needs more CPU, I/O and RAM than MyBB, a bunch of us Catalyst developers have put together reviews of hosting sites. Linode wins:

No. 000webhost are well known for overselling. I used to be hosted there, and my site barely made 50% uptime.

Sites gve away free domains to get more customers. It costs them $10, and they (from a business point of view) can make that back in a few months. Also, if your domain is tied to your host- you are far less likely to move away.

Considering that they aren't "selling" anything, I'm not sure "overselling" is quite the word.

They have a premium plan too, with "unlimited" disk space and "unlimited" bandwidth. So, yeah! They are overselling.

If anyone can really provide an "Unlimited" hosting, I'm sure Google and Yahoo would use it to reduce up their server costs.

They are selling a service that is constrained by the server specifications. If their server's can only hold x amount of customers - each getting all of the promised portions of server power/HDD space - and they are allowing more customers onto their servers than the servers can hold then they are by definition overselling.
