Hello is there a way i can stop guests and a certain member from viewing my threads/posts?

A rival forum witch runs VBulletin is actually coming to this website and viewing my posts and threads and starting to copy my forum. They have copied my member icons and i know there is more to come, id really like to block this person from seeing my posts and guests too incase he doesnt login

He really stalks out my forum, he is ALWAYS viewing my forum and when it went offline once he logged on MSN to boast and even searched this forum trying to find out what happened, its all really wierd and freaky.

Can this mod be edited for displaying edited post style as Vbulletin?

Does MyBB have the ability to allow admin the abilility to change a registered members username? A couple long time members on my forum have over the past asked me if I could change their username. They could not without deleting their account and starting over. I have not seen anywhere that this feature exists. If they delete their old account......username, registered e-mail address, etc,.....wouldn't that delete all their posts?

I don't know how to answer their question........

I just noticed that my system mail log contains a lot of errors stating that "MyBB was unable to send the email using the PHP mail() function.".

This error has been occuring several times per day since the forum has been running. Sending mails works in general and I have already asked my hoster if there have been problems with the mail servers. They are none so the only option left is an error in the script.

As I said, most mails are delivered correctly. Does anyone have any idea what might be the reason?

I recently just converted over from phpbb3 and i'm quite happy with MyBB. The only thing is, when created a MyBB I used the same username (Joe) as on my phpbb3 so after the conversion, my phpbb username was Joe_phpbb3_import1 .

How I do take all of the post and data from this account and put it into my MyBB admin?

If I could get contacted by one of the software owners here. my site is hacked today and it' s because of mybb 1.6

I wont tell too much, but normal registered members can get admin access and they kicked me out of the forum ( i have a backup of yesterday though)

but also major forums can be hacked easily because of this. it's a 0day exploit and just started like 48 hours ago
