I have just installed 1.6 and it seems anywhere I go I have a SQL error.
I'm talking about basic stuff, such as creating an user group :/

I did fix one, and wrote how to fix second bug on redmine, but there are more and more... how much testing was there with PostgreSQL?

guys... how to disable this ? i mean user just register it no need to have activation ?

I have found one more thread from a poster having the same problem and Matt and others said it could be an internet explorer/template related issue. As it happens, the registration page -which has a login box on the right hand side corner-, works fine in firefox, maxthon, etc.

So some versions of internet explorer may have that "double login boxes" problem and show the error: passwords do not match, upon registration.

Before I eliminate that login box, which is actually a great feature on the home page, would it be possible to insert a php command in the registration page or where the login box resides with the following conditional:

if [registration_page] then do not show > login box

Could some php expert here suggest a piece of code I can experiment with? Thanks!

the template shows up in the list so i know i uploaded it right but it still has the same page just after you install http://mwrforum.co.cc/Forum.

Do i need to create all the php files such as showthread.php and ucercp.php?If so then how do i do all of that.I know html,css,and javascript(learning php).
Sorry for all the questions but i need to know EXACTLY what to do after i install mybb because its just a blank forum and no links(like register/login)work so how do i make them work?

I updated my forum to 1.6, now i have problem with all plugins. When i try to activate any plugin it says me that table from plugin already exist.
I delete that table and try to activate plugin again and i got same error.

Is there any solution what i can do?

A tutorial link maybe?

After update i try to activate Tab menu plugin and i got this error:



I tryed to remove it, all files and that table from phpmyadmin. But i still get that error when i try again.

Any solution?

I'm getting that sort of issue when trying to edit a member or a post.


In the wiki(I just copy and pasted that) it says to ensure your table prefixes are setup properly in the config.php, and mine are perfectly fine so i'm not entirely sure what to do!
