What the?

I go to aboard and click on the topics name and it refreshes and wont popen the topic.

I was wondering if there is a way to let MyBB resize the avatar but keep the transparency of the avatar.

If you didn't already know, when an avatar is too big, MyBB automatically resizes it to meet the allowed dimensions, but the image is no longer transparent and the space where the transparency was previously is now black.

Can I fix this?

what i mast to do .. i will start to change me forum from 1.4.14 TO 1.6

1- i mast to check me language packets ..
2- backup all forum (database+fills)
3-offline forum and deactivate all plug-in
4-re-upload new fills (mybb1.6)
5-start install new version .

is those steps OK ?? or what i mast to do ?

and what about plug-in ? every thing work on 1.6 ? if i change the TEXT 1.4 to 1.6 ?

I just finished installing MyBB forum software. And I go to Admin CP and its really messed up, looks weird, and I cant do anything 0_o

I did not do anything other then go through installation wizard >_<

I was just wondering if it was possible to give a certain user group the permission to lock their own threads only
so if i had i vip members group, any member of that group would be able to lock there own threads only and not all threads on the forum.

I've installed mybb and all of that but now im at a loss of what im supposed to do now.I have a few questions and i will describe them the best that i can.

1.i want the forum to be the only page. right now i have http://mwrforum.co.cc and there is a link to the forum.I have an "index.html" file, and the other one is the file i uploaded to install mybb(i renamed it forum).

2.What do i do now?i have it installed but i dont know how to make the actual forum. I know html,css,php,and javascript but i dont know how to apply this so i can make my forum look as visually pleasing as ones such as this ans http://hackforums.net.

3.if i were to code/download a source code for a login/register system,how would i make it so if the user clicks the register/login button it will do the appropriate action.

as previously stated I really like the forum setup the way it is right now.

But I got two questions about it.

1. Whenever I create a new forum/subforum or copy permissions from another forum only the drag and drop perms are being copied, the checkboxes in "edit permissions" ain't.

Can I disregard them or is there a way to copy them as well?


2. Is there a way to simply list all permissions in the drag and drop menu, maybe in a smaller way or changing it so each item in there goes for the complete permission cathegory, like "Viewing", "Posting / Rating" etc. - alternatively, will that be a feature in a future version?
