I've been hunting all through the configuration files and I just can't find this. I want to set the default for users for the number of days worth of posts they can see. It's a low traffic board, a niche group, and I want a larger number of days set. I realize the user can change it, but I want to set it something that works without it having to be changed.

I was looking in the ACP files to see how the mail settings (the actual settings in the ACP) were able to hide settings when changed, i found it and it was a js thing,the file was admin/modules/config/setting.php at the bottom, is it possible to add a hook there so plugins can add stuff there?
