  Upgrade muck up
Posted by: H+H Bear - 2010-08-16, 09:06 PM - Forum: 1.6 General Support - Replies (4)

Where can I get a copy of 1.4.13 to re-install?

The reason for asking is that I was on this version and set about installing 1.6 but I stupidly did "install" rather than "upgrage" so ended up wiping out the DB. I have re-built that from the backup but I now have a 1.4.13 DB with 1.6 code, hence I get the error

MyBB has experienced an internal error and cannot continue.

Error Type:
MyBB Error (42)
Error Message:
Your board has not yet been upgraded. Please do so before attempting to browse it.

I'm guessing that if I go back to 1.4.13 for a minute then upload the 1.6 files and do upgrade it will sort it out.

Any help would be very welcome.

Peter

  Keywords?

Is there any way to set keywords for earch engines in the admin cp, or would I have to do it through the template section?

  130 - Incorrect file format 'mybb_adminoptions'
Posted by: HuggyBear - 2010-08-16, 08:48 PM - Forum: 1.6 General Support - Replies (6)

I just upgraded to 1.6

But I made a mistake Undecided

I forgot that I had renamed the "admin" folder.

After upgrade I have 2 admin folders - the old one (lets call it "secretfolder")
and the new one "admin" that I uploaded when upgrading.

The AdminCP refers to: http://mc-nøglesvingerne.dk/secretfolder/index.php
But there I get:

MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
    130 - Incorrect file format 'mybb_adminsessions'
Query:
    SELECT * FROM mybb_adminsessions WHERE sid='43fb8a0d18adb1f043a2e856f5b25c69'

And when I try: http://mc-nøglesvingerne.dk/admin/index.php
I get the same:
MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
    130 - Incorrect file format 'mybb_adminsessions'
Query:
    SELECT * FROM mybb_adminsessions WHERE sid='43fb8a0d18adb1f043a2e856f5b25c69'

What do I do to get AdminCP 2 work again?

Question Two questions
Posted by: StormIsComing - 2010-08-16, 08:20 PM - Forum: 1.6 General Support - Replies (2)

Hello. How can I add a thread prefix system like the one here in the MyBB forums? Like the [How To?], [General] etc...? Also, how can I display how many users are browsing the forum? (Example : Forum Annoncements (2 users browsing)

Exclamation ACP Problem
Posted by: RedNovember1917 - 2010-08-16, 07:42 PM - Forum: 1.6 General Support - Replies (4)

Hey dudes,

I recently upgraded the message board I administer to MyBB 1.6.0 and, at first, I thought everything was working well. However, when I went to visit the ACP for the first time after the upgrade, I encountered the two following problems;

The First Problem - Whenever I went to the both the "Templates" option and the "Forum Management" option of the ACP, all I saw in the spaces were there were supposed to be commas were a lack of such (i.e., instead of "Subforum 1, Subforum 2, etc.", I saw "Subforum 1 Subforum 2 etc.");

The Second Problem - Whenever I tried to edit my forum permissions, I wasn't able to do it because all I saw were these rounded and unusable gray bars.

I first tried to fix the problem by updating the language pack, but, that didn't work. Then I re-uploaded all the files pertaining to the admin folder in my message board's directory and that didn't work either. So, my question is this: what can I do to resolve these two problems?

  MyBB Error (42)
Posted by: nelgin - 2010-08-16, 06:41 PM - Forum: 1.6 General Support - Replies (4)

So, went back from 1.6.0 to 1.2.12 by restoring my database and copying back the files I backed up, but now I'm getting the following:

MyBB Internal Error

MyBB has experienced an internal error and cannot continue.

Error Type:
MyBB Error (42)
Error Message:
Your board has not yet been upgraded. Please do so before attempting to browse it.

A search for "error 42" yields nothing. Any clues?

  Upgrade stalled at event conversion
Posted by: nelgin - 2010-08-16, 06:03 PM - Forum: 1.6 General Support - Replies (9)

My upgrade from 1.2.12 to 1.6.whatever has stalled at the "Event Conversion" section. It's been sitting there for a good 1/2 hour.

Don't see any errors logs and I checked the database before converting to make sure there were no errors. Open to suggestions for troubleshooting at this point.
