when people do a thread subscription on a topic so the forum will send them a notice that there is a new reply we now get every day several emails returned bij the server from mybb with an smtp error message could not deliver mail .please can someone help me .
I deleted a forum today, because I thought that was the only way to merge forums. Since you guys didn't put in a "merge forums" or "copy forum posts to another forum" button, I assumed deleting forums will ask me to move posts inside elsewhere or delete them. So I deleted the forum, and now all my threads are gone from that forum.
I thought it was going to ask me where to move all the posts inside the forum, but it didn't.
I was worried about this when a javascript confirmation came up, but this is why I have a backup. Regardless, developers should know that this is a major lack of feature.
I have a ton of forums I need to merge together because they are the same stuff. How do I do this?
For some users, the private messages are not listed right to the menu but below the menu.
Now the weird thing is, I expected it to be a browser issue, since while it works for me with Firefox just fine Internet Explorer displays the theme in this bugged way (see attachment).
However: Talking to other members, using Firefox & Chrome, they said they experience the issue with both Chrome and Firefox.
I cannot reproduce this error using Firefox at all, the only way the error comes up for me is when using Internet Explorer.
Has anyone any idea how the fix that?
Also, an additional question.
When I installed darkfusion I had to edit lots of stuff since there were quite an amount of wrongly named images etc. Also the smileys and icons do not fit the background at all, since they are not transparent, nor has their background been changed to gray (you see single white pixes all around the smileys and icons).
Is that usual? If so (I don't wanna sound bitchy at all, I am well aware that the theme is a great offer and well done), why hasn't that been changed in the process of creating the theme, since that's really a killer of the actual great look of this theme.
Is there a query to mass disable post icons? I've got about 40 forums on a site I'm working on and it would take me forever to go through and disable every post icon manually.
Deinstalled all the plugins I tried earlier, besides my other issue, does anyone have any ideas on this one? Doesn't show authors name in previously posted threads.
