I'm currently pouring all my time into the 1.8 update. I most likely won't be maintaining this version after the 1.8 compatible release.

@wildcard - maybe it is waste of your limited time to update this plugin for MyBB 1.8 - why? There are DVZ mentions and automention plugins - both work well and have MyAlerts support

I feel that MentionMe was a superior solution to mentions for MyBB. I will be updating it for MyBB 1.8 if for no other reason because my forum uses it.

I ever use MentionMe and work well on 1.8 as allways and use button editor, autocomplete and more. Many users ask me for a solution and i say use dvz as Eldenrot says for the actual support, but many of them experiments many troubles with that mod.

Finally i share the mention mod i use on my site and all goes fine in all cases, so i think if he(@Wildcard) support this mod, i think this mod is a good solution form many users.

And i make the bridge form MyAlerts as tyl plugin and thankyou mybb system, my comments, our store system and more. So i use it and know it work perfect with autocomplete, button editor, and mentions on 1.8.x series of MyBB.
