1.6.9 is an important security update and it must be easy to upgrade without the risk of breaking templates, plugins or modified files. People must upgrade their forums as soon as possible and not days, weeks or months after the release like most do.
i upgraded to 1.6.9...
really this version is very easy to upgrade... not break anything...

But I already fixed it. Lost all the CSS styles don't know why after the ugrade.
And it's not the first time.

And that's why you take backups.
MyBB should bake in a template and theme backup to the upgrader.
few words make it 87 and minimum is 85 looooooooooooooooool
This has been a real problem for me, especially when people use the quick reply. They need to learn they need to go to the "preview post" in order to remove the re: from the reply subject. I agree with anori with that there is no sense in the reply having a title, this just causes problem.
In my opinion... if the reply with the "re:" is longer the maximum size, the subject should be truncated, or at the end or at the beginning.
Is there any plugin to do this? I reallt would avoid changing the php page as it could create problems during the next upgrade...
I think the replies are there for if you use threaded view, which is quite archaic.
