You can edit the portal to your hearts content in the portal.php.

Yes. It's called the template system. You can easily alter the portal.

Many people hate the portal without realizing what it is. If the only reason you hate it is because other people have posted that they hate it, then that's really not smart. The portal can be a powerful tool and from the way you talk about it I'm guessing you've never actually looked in depth into it.

It's a core feature. ACP > Styles & Templates > Templates *your template set* > Portal Templates > modify away.

seems easy to coder! but seems noob and useless to lazy and newbie people so its will be awesome if there is plugin for portal page
