Anyone miss Kier and the rest of the old time devs of vBulletin?

Why oh why did Jelosoft sell it to IB...

OH GOD, I just looked at there website...WOW. Looks ugly.


Pricing = 195$ to 250$, Seems they are trying to make up money by increasing the price and not by having more people buy it for less. So they are are selling you a beta, and you get vBulletin 4 for 250$ well atleast they give you vB5 for free upgrade.

I don't miss Kier or Mike since I use XF (Though tbh, I haven't seen them lately on the XF community).


And they are owned by a very large company now, so you can expect a price raise (Which also should come with a better product, but doesn't seem like that's happening).

You have to admit, When IB wasn't involved it was better.

So disable what you don't want. Not using the software because it has status updates and a profile wall (both optional) is a little silly.

yep i for 1 wont be upgrading to 5 ill just stay on 4.2
