I have six terminals dotted around my house. I'm planning on going 100% optical, but wireless is the best/only option for me currently.
I can use up to 20 GB of bandwidth per day depending on what I'm doing.
Are your electrical lines clean? If so try powerline.

You mean Mbps and not Kbps, because even this page is 25 kb, so it would take approximately 25 seconds to load on your computer

They could be on very bad dial up.
I remember when my dial up was even more slow then this.
