My mid 2013 airport express actually seems to do pretty well signal wise. I use two access points though.

That's over WiFi. Not bad. Speed test results have always felt irrelevant to me. I never download films, games or anything of the kind. Mainly just general application usage (web / email / putty / ftp). End of the day - I can navigate to web pages as quickly as the next guy

ha ha! I use my cellphone as a wi-fi hotspot, and actually, it isn't slow, but my gawd, that is just embarrassing. That it T-Mobile for ya.

That's a huge increase from the .75 Mb/s I'm getting these days.  :p

That's a huge increase from the .75 Mb/s I'm getting these days.  :p  

ha ha,you know what is funny, it won't be long before I'm right there with ya, because T-Mobile allows for 3 gigs a month before they throddle me, which 3 gigs I burn through in a week, never even watching videos or downloading, I would never ever recommend T-Mobile, I just don't get it. but the ironic thing is, even when they throddle my speed, the forum runs as fast as ever,so typically never have speed issues. Why are you only getting .75? What is up with that?

I'm currently living out in a forest in Colorado, and the only internet service coming out to the place is Centurylink. And they only offer 1.5Mb/s... which when shared with many others as well as the distance between the ISP brings it down to about .75 Mb/s.

Downloading games on steam is horrible.
