No; its still 10 =P
Your settings.php still CHMOD'd 777 ? =/ =P
i have done that even i have checked with empty box still it keeps refreshing................
no this time you are wrong i have checked setting.php its 777 and also shoutbox setting refresh time is set to 0.

yah you are right LeX- has done a great work to prepare a tutorial for others Sad

i ll be happy if LeX- can solve my this problem too Sad
For me it still shows 10 too, unramped.
howz this possibel i mean i c=have done it 0 in the setting
and my page source showing any meta tag is
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /> 

so what could b the issue now?
You should look at the source of the iframe. The iframe is the one that shows
<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="10;URL=shoutbox.php" />
as LeX- posted before.
Late call; but the easiest way would be delete {$refresh} from the shoutbox template =P
