Thanks

I got it fixed, Thanks.

HELP!!! Tell me how you fixed your problem, pllleeease. I just got my site almost done, and I was working on a few things, and that wound up being a problem. Tells me that I have successfully logged in, but then sends me back to the index page as a guest. Never even shows me as a recent user. Ugh. Just for the record, I tried every cookie fix that there is.
.revengeoftheseller.com /forum/, etcetc.

Your forum works for me. You probably just need to clear your cookies from your browser.

Hey Dennis!

I have recently installed a forum on my web space at Powweb.com I have had a report from the administrator running the forum that members can register but when they login they are accepted and then referred back to the index page as a guest.

The URL that the forum is located is: http://www.nflraven.com/forum

I have set the cookie domain to: “.nflraven.com”
And the cookie path to : “/forum/”

This is not working in either FF3 or IE7. I have tried clearing out the cookie files, even variations of the domain and path names.

The other administrator reported to me that he had a problem logging off before he cleared his cookies. Is there another course of action that I can take?

The forum comes up and it was functioning great the last two days. We’ve set it up so guest can only view the Announcements and they need to be a member to see any thing else.

Any help or suggestions from other who have had a similar problem would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
