Ya, HyperVM has a huge exploit that was going around. Sadly their VPS host was one of the ones hit by it.
I have been talking to Nickman about it, and he said all servers were offline, and some had complete data loss. He is hoping that MyBB Source is safe because he doesn't have any backups. You can follow what's happening

Yeah, it really sucks. He is hoping that Source is not on one of the servers with data loss.
I would hope so, too - as he had a lot of work on that site; and no backups make it worse. But not to sound like an lime, but isn't it pretty stupid to not backup your site? I mean, it's kind've common sense imho.. No offense, Nickman.; just my two cents. I have a small forum and I still have weekly backups done.
If you can see Nickman's avatar, then you know source is back up.
I have it make automatic remote backups and I am emailed when they are done. The problem is that my backup place may be harmed too.
Ps: I know I am still an idiot for not having a recent backup on my computer.
